Paul, at 19:12 on May 22 1995, you wrote to Bill Grimsley...

I freq'd MSQALPHA on Sunday, and this is what it contained...

MSGED .EXE 220454 16-05-95 17:40
MSGEDP .EXE 184878 16-05-95 17:46

The OS/2 executable was sent to Chris, and he tells me that the pasting
problem appears to have been fixed. It works well on both our PCs.
However, I crashed the DOS executable to Noel and David, and they are both
having problems (I've x-posted Dave's message here, incidentally).

In order to check these claims myself, I booted native PC-DOS 5.0 and
played around with Msged for a while, but could not fault the bloody thing.
Later though, I tried running the DOS Msged from a windowed VDM and
something really weird happened. I accidentally hit the wrong Alt-n key
combination whilst in read mode and it sent the message to the spooler, not
just once, but hundreds of times! As I couldn't stop it, I had to kill the
Msged session and delete hundreds of files from my spooler directory. When
I tried it again, I could not reproduce the problem.

Did you fully test the DOS executable yourself (native DOS I mean) ?

Regards, Bill
