* EleBBS Support List Hi Coolmax, > This only regards eleweb downloads. There is a seperate eleweb mail list too :) > I seem to be having trouble with downloading any files that are not on > local drives.. If i attempt to download a file on a networked drive i get > a 0 byte file. i know its not eleweb itself it has something to do with > apache. > > System Info > Operating System: Win XP > Apache Version: Apache 2.0.59 I dont run Apache but I goggled your question and found this answer: If the NAS drive is permanently mounted on your computer, a symlink to /Volumes/EDisk/wherever from ~/Sites should work fine, BUT the files in question (and the path to them) must be world readable. Also, Apache must be told to follow symlinks. You can do this easily with an .htaccess file, "Options FollowSymLinks" You can also use the Virtual directive in Apache to serve the pages directly, without going through your Sites folder.
