JB>BS> belittle myself and try to fool people?? Both Clinton and Gore are
JB>BS> idiots and are heading this country into Socialism. We fought too
JB>BS> many wars to get countries to change from socialism to have it grow
JB>BS> up here.

JB>And I suppose that if by some quirk of fate Mr Perot was elected you

JB>you agree with it.

People need a little more education about sociology.

All societies are "socialist". Without "socialism" there would be no
civilization. It is not "every man for themselves" which builds civilizations,
but socialism.

The "every man for themselves" mentality is not the law of society or
civilization, but the law of the jungle and anarchy.

Over the course of history, mankind has learned that governments must walk a
fine line between too much government involvment and not enough. When there is
not enough control by government occurs, lawlessness breaks out. When too much
occurs, revolution eventually breaks out.

Most governments have seen that it is in the best interest of society to
provide for the basic needs of the people because hungry people are
notoriously difficult to control. This is why in most "socialist" nations, the
government either directly, or through price controls, indirectly controls the
food, water, energy, and shelter production, distribution, or both.

Some nations have included health care as a government mandate. Personally, I
think that people do have a right to health care and I believe that something
needs to be done about the current situation in this nation.

In this town there are only a few pharmacies that will fill the prescriptions
for people who are on medicaide. This is legal. It is legal for all of the
other pharmacies to discriminate against the poor. This is not right. There
are few doctors that will take medicaide patients. Once again, discrimination.
This policy forces the poor onto government supported hospitals where the
hospitals in turn, pass on the cost to their insured patients.

To correct this, all that is needed is a law that prevents any business from
providing their services to medicaide or medicare patients.

When your child is sick, you are going to get the kid some help whether you
have insurance or not. This is reality. If it means holding up the
convienience store down the street to get the money for the kids prescription,
then that's what will be done.

If people chose not to believe this, they are deluding themselves. As
Perochio likes to say, "it's that simple."
