Get the speed gears that are available from Tamiya. That'll lower your gear
ratio. You'll be limited to the 69T spur if you have a 21T pinion, but you
can get up to 25 teeth from Tamiya. That way you can go to the 66T spur.
Bear in mind that you'll have more top speed, but less acceleration and less
run time.
BTW: Stock spur is 74T (at least in my Supra sedan.)
