Not today, but maybe within the next month I'll find some time to get the latest maximus for linux installed somewhere and experiment with DOSEMU and possibly DOSBOX. I desprately want to retire my PII450 windows 2000 box because every year some piece of hardware fails and I have to fix it. I'd love to get it running on a Solaris zone along with all the other stuff on the Solaris servers. If it won't run on Solaris, it will run in a linux container which is based on CentOS. RT> That may be, but they said 2-3 week for delivery ... , so I am hopefully RT> waiting ... :-) That's what they said to me too, in December :/ I still have not received the DVD and someone at work was also complaining. I ended up downloading it and installing it. If you know linux already, Solaris is very similar. Actually it's more like BSD, as it's roots are in BSD. Right now I'm reading a book on Solaris 10. I plan on switching to it permanently for my servers and development workstation. Looking forward to buying one of those hot Sun workstations with a 24" screen too :) Ryan --- Maximus 3.01* Origin: The Dog House * Orillia ON Canada * bbs.doghousebbs.com (1:229/1394) SEEN-BY: 633/267 @PATH: 229/1394 2000 123/500 379/1 633/267 |
