Normalizing Relations with Zionist Regime a "Crime against Islam"

The head of the Muslim Brotherhood in Kuwait has warned Arab leaders
that the normalization of relations with Israel constitutes a "crime
against Islam."

Speaking at a diplomatic reception for Arab and Muslim envoys on
Saturday, 'Abdallah Al-Mutawwa', the leader of Social Islam Society,
said, "Palestinians are killed, their houses demolished and land
confiscated while we are rushing for normalization with the Zionist
regime"

Al-Mutawwa's comments were sparked by word that Bahrain has ended its
boycott of Israeli goods and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf's
recent overtures towards the Jewish state.

Bahrain made its decision because it was a precondition to the
establishment of a free-trade zone with the United States. But on
Sunday, Bahrain's foreign minister told government ministers and
legislators that the nation had no intention of normalizing relations
with Israel.

Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmad Al Khalifa said, "There is no intention to
force goods from Israel on the people, and the dropping of the embargo
against Israel does not mean any form of economic, cultural, political
or diplomatic normalization with Israel."
