I know of many people who got divorced over house-hunting.  It can be very
stressful and cause much angst in couples.  In your case, I suspect the
cost of living there is but one barrier.  I don't know what houses are
going for in that area (you know how fond of FL I am ), but if
it's anything close to what it is here, you've got a big hurdle.  All but
one of the places I've lived were wiped out by Katrina.
 
My daughter took on another pet that was headed for
"Youth-In-Asia" because the owners were moving and couldn't take
the dog with them.  It is a 1-year-old German shepherd and almost fully
grown.  I don't know anything about the people who owned this dog
originally, but they didn't know much about the breed.  This shepherd has
to be the dunbest one I ever saw.  Too late for me to do anything with him
(I prefer to raise females from 1-month- old) because after I had one for
close to 15-years, I don't have the inclination to do anything with him, so
it would require, in my opinion, a professional trainer.
