In an earlier posting (perhaps in OS2PROG) I mentioned that I was
running Object Rexx here on Warp 4 + FP#12, and found that it made my
system slightly more peppy that running my rexx programs on regular rexx
especially since I do some heavy multitasking all day long.
This view has not changed, but I have had to return to regular rexx as
the platform for my rexx programs because I was getting regular traps in
REXX.DLL (about 1 or 2 per day)--with 2 realtime rexx programs running
all the time. It's been 4 days since I returned to regular rexx, but
have not had any traps since--so I guess I found the cause of the
problem.
Is this another of those undesirable side effects which we get with
the evil, but necessary Y2K updates? Maybe, but FP#12 is here to stay,
so Object Rexx goes out the door--except for debugging new code, for
which it is excellent.
