Subject: new NFB Song
Fellow Federationists and friends,
Several years ago Mary and I set out to compose an NFB Song to The Song of
Joy which is a part of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.  We got one verse
written but that's as far as we got with it and we are still stuck for
additional verses.  Here is what we've written so far:
All blind people of the Nation gather round before us,
Join in with the federation lift your voices to the cause.
passing on the torch of freedom, and the dream of liberty.
Liberating all blind people soldiers of the NFB.
Passing on the torch of freedom and the dream of liberty.
Liberating all blind people soldiers of the NFB.
And that's as far as we got with it.  come on you song writers we can do
it.  We'll also make history with this one as it will be the first NFB
Song written in siberspace.  Lets try to have it done before the National
connvention in New Orleans.  Thanks in advance.
