subject: your blocks

Hi Pat,
PK> SL> at least got all my obligations out on time. March is looking to
PK> SL> be very hectic this year. I am glad that there aren't any birthday
PK> SL> fat quarters to worry about for a couple of months.
PK>Tell me about it! I have four quilts to get done (three aren't even
started
PK>and I need to put sew some dresses for me. Got my obligations done and
ut
PK>and my March ones went out last week. Get yours yet?
I have most of my obligations done, I did send out all of my March
birthday fat quarters. Now I just need to find out what all the March
block winners want. My local round robin packet came, and it should be
an easy project.
BTW, yesterday I large envelope arrived from TN. Thank you so much for
the birthday card and the beautiful fat quarter!!!! I was a bit down,
so I opened it right then and there. It is a wonderful piece! I
absolutely love it! I have several brown and tan leaf and forest prints
that I have been saving up. Don't know exactly what they will be used
for, but they will be used.
PK>Well, Doris hasn't posted that list yet! Gee, you are in for a whole
PK>lot of fat quarters aren't you? What are you going to do with all of
I can't wait for the pile to grow! My birthday is going to be a bit of
a dud this year. I have to go to Las Vegas with my daughter's water
polo team for the weekend. Just my idea of fun, babysitting 30 teens
(boys and girls) in Vegas. The worst thing about it is that I will miss
my groups' Mystery Quilt sleepover too. Oh well, maybe I can hit the
quilt shops while I am there. I wish that we were flying down, I am not
looking forward to the eight-hour drive.
PK>them? Hoard them like I do? Good idea on sending to both groups. I
PK>always send to everyone. I do it because I was the coordinator and
The groups weren't that big this year, so a couple of extra packets to
send isn't much. Funny thing is, in my local group we don't have any
April birthdays, and only 1 May. I sent birthday fat quarters early
along with exchange blocks, I hope that is acceptable. I did wrap the
early ones so they have the option of waiting.
