Even in post-Christian times we need laws & rule of law and state discipline
for infractions of same. . .

The Noachide laws, as stated (without adding your fright-mongering claims of
death penalty association for everything, contradictory to what God's word has
to say!) are reasonable universal laws, don't you think?

"Love your neighbour as yourself" is not a good universal law for
nations to
enact/enforce, as it's too ambiguous. . .

It's a summary principle that encapsulates, without negating, the entire set of
laws(hundreds) in the Torah!

Remember, Jesus said, answering to Jews, that he was not going to do away [with
the need to observe] even one of the minutae laws of Torah!

And not only did he stand for and preach adherence to every law in the Torah,
he wasn't only preaching adherence to the principles, but to the very LETTER OF
THE LAW (and beyond the letter of the law to the minutae that make up the
letters!)

And he even added stricter interpretations to the laws!

No thanks, I'll stick with what the Creator/Author of the Torah has to say!
