      Using Word 7 (I don't remember about 6), use   
rather than  between the words for a non-breaking space. If you have 
word set up to show non-printing characters, you'll see the non-breaking 
(also non-printing) space character. You can also do insert/symbol and pick 
the non-breaking space with your mouse. Of course, all will flow to the next 
line.
