Calling for a Caliphate State

ISTANBUL (DIHA) - Holding a demonstration after the Friday Prayer in
Fatih Mosque, the regional leader of Hizb-ut Tahrir in Turkey Yilmaz
Celik called the people to found a Caliphate State.

Almost one thousand demonstrators, most of whom were women gathered
after the prayer and hold placards saying "Hizb-ut Tahrir Turkey" and
"Democracy vileness, caliphate excellence". The leader of the
organization in Turkey Yilmaz Celik gave a speech to the crowd and
informed that the demonstration to be held in the countries where
their organization was active.

Describing Istanbul as the last capital of the Caliphate State to be
found, Yilmaz continued to his speech almost for one hour. He claimed
USA to be stuck in Iraq and EU not to be as powerful as it was before.
He also read verses from the Quran.

He stated that the time to found a state of caliphate came and wanted
the supporters to work for their goal day and night until they
actualized their end wish. The demonstration in which the participants
made takbeer (tekbir) saying "Allahu Akbar", lasted for nearly one and
half hour.

Then the guards of Yilmaz drove him away from the journalists. On the
other hand the journalists smoking during the press conference were
warned by the members of the organization.
