We got there 3 mins late and without Daisy's medical records.  I just could
not find them!  I swear they were on the counter!

Oh well.  We got us all loaded up, and Daisy did *not* like the carrier.  In
fact, poor thing got scared and peed on herself.  I forgot to put down a towl
too.  Fortunately the vets have seen that often enough to not be phased.

So in we go, them carefully checking to see if we can put our 2 scared pets
in the same room, and told'em yeah but Daisy scratches when startled (except
for Cash).  Cash what whining at her cage to let her go.  

We did and she beelined for a small cabinet with 1/2 height door, made they
said mostly as a perfect cat hidy spot. Cash plopped right down outside it as
if to say 'touch my pussy and i will growl'.

They identified something i wouldnt have thought of but a dog protecting a cat
wont look in, but mostly out at the room with his back to the cat.

Well, they fixed the records up for Daisy and updated all shots.  She has a
small yeast infection in one ear.  She's 12.7 lbs (a bit over, perhaps by as
much as 2 lbs).  Whe she got her shots, he ws communing nose to nose with her
and gently licking her just barely.  (He was quite brave about his own shots
and just whimpered faintly and looked at the vet-man with a 'why do you stick
me like that when we meet?')

Cash got his EKG and Xrays and seems luck has been smiling on him!  He shows
no heart enlargement and they think he's gonna be just fine.  Must have
caught the heartworms in time.  He's got a good heart rate.  We can start
small *short* jogs with him now (human speed, 1/4 mile then up to 1/2 mile if
we want).

He's possibly at right weight now.  Shocked us though!  I mentioned his ribs
no longer can be counted when standing, and the vet says 'maybe just a tiny
bit under but see where the rest goes as he's still bulking out with
muscles'.  Cash is now 45.4 lbs and looks great!  Vet says next stage is take
his food down to just under 1 cup per feeding and see if he holds here.

He's sleeping in the kitchen after getting all them shots and protecting Ms
Daisy from the evil vet-man .
