The novel was Way overhyped for one thing... That should be a clue right
off the bat... Dash's character I never cared for (can anyone say Han
Solo Clone?)... But on the other hand the novel was superior to "The
Crystal Star" (but, hey, what's Worse right!)...
Now as for Shadows of the Empire being the only book that GL has
officially accepted... Well, you KNOW how I feel about "Canon"
"Official" "Authorized" and all that other major marketing B.S... It's
meaningless... I could go on and offer up some Star Trek comparisons but
I get the distinct impression around here that people don't like it when
I do that!
