BW> Well, I finally got my wish on vacation. I have 60
BW> hours of vacation to
BW> use up by the end of Augest and I am only able to use
BW> only 40, real bummer.
Isn't it great how they do that? I'm safe on vacation time until at least
the end of November, but plan to take some time off in October to try to do
some of the work around the house here. My wife will be taking the time off
too, and we can get lots of stuff done between the two of us. If the weather
is good, we can work outside. If it is not good, we have plenty to do
inside. :-)
BW> I can came down to do the second adult thing for the
BW> weekend but I need
BW> to come in and do part day side work on Saterday and
BW> come back out to camp.
I *hope* to have another adult along, but he may be an inexperienced one, so
your attendence, whenever you can make it, will be appreciated. We had a
Webelos scout and his Dad visit us at our meeting this past Thursday. They
are members of the church, and the Scout attends Country Day. They were
pleased when I pointed out that Jordan, our SPL is also a student at Country
Day, as is Dan. Even better, the Dad is an Eagle Scout. :-)
Even better yet, he is going to talk with his den mates and school mates to
see of a few of them will come over together. It would be great to have a
group of 4 to 6 new Scouts added to the Troop.
MB> They are not bad, but the younger ones need much
MB> more practice.
MB> Perhaps a couple campouts with an emphasis on
MB> food preparation would be good.
BW> Would ya like the "Fat Boys Club" too help ya work on
BW> cooking?
As long as they do the work. We would not want them to get too spoiled with
the good cooking that the Adults prepare. :-)
