  Why not use your solar heaters as a kind of "pre-heater" and let your gas
hot water tank finish the job?  It would save you a lot of energy (especially
if you set the tank for 140 or so).  Also, another advantage would be on
cooler days, you wouldn't lose your hot water.  I'm guessing that you are not
using your booster heater on the dishwasher to get the water temp above 140
degerees, so a health consideration comes in also:  you cant kill some kinds
of bacteria at low water temps.  (you can use a sanitizer, though....)  Just
a question.  Here in NW Ohio, we don't get enough sun (IMO) to make solar a
viable heating option, at least not regularly.  Have a good one!!
