Hello world!
After reading this echo for a few days, I would now like to introduce  
myself to all the readers of this echo:
My name is Kolja Brix and I am living in Bocholt, a city of 70,000  
inhabitants nin Germany near the border to the Netherlands which is only  
few kilometers away.
I am 19 years old and in June I passed my last exam at school (after 13  
years of school) with a "very good" mark. My "Leistungskurse", that are  
courses that you choose in the last 3 years of your school "career"and  
that you will be taught twice as often as all the other ones, were  
mathmatics and physics.
On Monday, I will begin my "Zivildienst" (which can be translated as civil  
service) that I do as a conscientious objector instead of joining the  
army.
In this service, I will help old people who are still living at home to  
make ends meet with their daily housework: I will clean the windows, go  
shopping and do some nursing.
After this service I want to go to university to study physics (diploma).
Perhaps you already know my name from one of my programs and utilities:
I programmed _FontID_, a program to put an end to all the font-id related  
problems. Maybe that you had a look at NUTIL, a small utility to edit the  
name and the note of a GEOS document form DOS. And there are quite a lot  
more small programs...
Perhaps you also recognized my font viewer program called GeoFontlist. It  
is my first program that runs under Ensemble. It lists ball fonts that are  
installed on the specific system in a scrolable list.
At the moment I am working on more GEOS-programs which directly work in  
the Ensemble environnment. I will inform you if there is anything new...
