  Note that the version I'm working to get into Debian is the original one
for just the JAM message base. The version using smapi (jamnntpd-smapi) I
think is justified to be renamed to SmapiNNTPd, and I've already started a
GIT repository for it. I plan to merge in whatever updates and changes
others have made for it.  Not sure yet where the primary repository will
end up but I figure to at least mirror it on GitHub.

   An updated Debian/Ubuntu package for the smapi library?  I've
been planning to work on the packaging for the library (I'm not sure about
trying to get it into Debian itself but there are other ways of making it
available) but just haven't had the time to get to it yet.
