That's been known to happen, but usually we were able to recover said pill
and get it into dog. SHe tried everything, peanut butter sandwich,
hamburger ball, you name it she tried it. Always same result.  I'd come up
behind big dog, have him sit in front of me.  Get pill in mouth, rub throat
while holding muzzle.  Pill goes down.
