There'a most fascinating and delightfully well written article at
Alternet.org by someone called Tai Moses.  In it, he tells about a
few of the dozens of artistic people he has met over the course of
his lifetime.  He qualifies them all as writers.  Even the
illiterate, the uneducated, and the deprived.  A most wondrous
insight, in this scribbler's not so humble opinion, but the writing
in the piece alone makes it worth the reading.
