the butcher at the DAhl's store on Ingersoll in des Moines used to give me
the bones for my dog. these days I buy them prepackaged for her.
A bar/restaurant we used to frequent in NEw ORleans saved the bones off
everybody's plates on steak nights for our rOtt.

COmplete with shrink wrapped packaging in many cases .
I haven't seen grocery stores giving away bones to certain customers for
years now .
