************ PAL PEARL JAM VIDEOS AVAILABLE RIGHT HERE IN AUSTRALIA **********
I have recently purchased some NTSC videos from America and have gone to the
expense to converting them to PAL, a rather expensive task. The NTSC version
is direct from the SOURCE and the PAL copies i have made is using high quality
copying process and has no loss of quality. I now offer copies of these Pearl
Jam videos to other people in Australia only. (Unless your desperate)
If you are after original NTSC copies, then please contact the very friendly
Kactus Kiss at the email address below. They will also have PAL copies
available, but this is several months away, and i really couldn't wait.
The Videos cost A$20 each or $125 for the set of NINE videos. It is currently
cheaper to buy these through me than anywhere else.
If you have something to trade in the way of Pearl jam, then please mail me. I
will only accept e-mail responses to this.
Here is the exact copy of the description of each video from Kactus Kiss and
underneath that is their address if you wish to get in contact with them for
the source tapes or other items they sell...
EARLY SHOW, SNL '92, & ULTRA-RARE FOOTAGE OF ACOUSTIC PROMO!
This triple header has it all! The main show was recorded 3/27/92 at a
university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The camerawork is steady with a
perfect angle and terrific close-ups. Eddie sings as if it were the real
album and the band plays perfect. Because it is a very early show, it
stays a raw and honest performance. The show is in the school's
auditorium and often the fans climb on stage and are floating everywhere!
After Black, the show really cooks and looks like an Alive or Evenflow
video. Eddie even climbs the scaffolding! Includes one of the earliest
lives of Leash. Eddie gives some good dialogue- "We just wanna tell you,
get good grades, make your parents happy...and kill them." Jimmy, the
drummer from Smashing Pumpkins comes out and ends the show with them as
they do an extended jam which goes into part of Dirty Frank ("Just to see
the look on their face") as Eddie snaps polaroids. As a bonus is the
complete 1992 Saturday Night Live performances and an ULTRA-RARE acoustic
promo the band did before they even had the faintest idea they'd become
legends! This a personal moment, letting you get literally right next to
the band. The camera is five feet away from them and Eddie is a bit shy
and jokes around. They play a very informal version of Wash.
Watch the whole tape, it becomes magical. We here, enjoy this one
very much.
Approx. 90 minutes.

LIVE IN HOLLAND 3/6/92 {at} 10 PM!
You can really tell they had fun playing this show. The whole band is
very energetic and play well. There is a lot of back-to-back leaning,
jumping, and running around. Mike McCready even strips during an extended
jam and plays the end of the show bare naked! Includes the normal 1992
set list plus some jams, Wash, and I've Got a Feeling. Good vibes all
around on this one.

1992 2 HOUR VIDEO COMPILATION!
Features Eddie and Mike performing a meaningful Masters of War at the Bob
Dylan Tribute Concert. Includes their pre-show interview. Also on this
tape are testimonials by U2's Adam and The Edge stating how cool Pearl Jam
is, the Alive video (promo version), and TWO Lollapalooza sets! On August
29, 1992 in Alpine Valley they play Why Go, Deep, Jeremy, Evenflow, Black,
Alive, Porch, and Baba O'Riley. Shot from the front row! On August 22,
1992 in Miami they play Evenflow, Why Go, Deep, Jeremy, Alive, Garden,
Porch, and close with Rockin' in the Free World/So What w/Al Jourgensen
doing some back-up! Shot on stage and in the front row! If any of you
have been to a Lollapalooza show, you know what to expect from our
Jammers! If not, we know you're sure to definitely like their set. As a
bonus, some coverage concerning Eddie fronting the Doors and a quick
interview is also included. The video quality is terrific, and so is the
sound. However the volume is low in certain sections, so you'll have to
turn up your TV.

Eddie Vedder...BAD RADIO & THE DOORS!
This is one of the hardest to find concert videos related to Eddie
Vedder! Part one is a show with the first band he was singing and playing
in, Bad Radio, while still pumping gas at the immortal station in San
Diego, California. Recorded in April 1989 in the same city, this is for
every PJ and Vedder collector! He is very young, with short hair and a
boyish face, but his voice is just as mature as it is today! He plays
guitar on a couple songs and is even a bit shy, though at the same time,
very personal to the audience. He invites everyone at the show to a party
at his house later on that night, and tells them to get his phone number
from his friends. Songs include What, Believe You Me, Better Man, and
others. You hear and can compare his early style to how it progressed two
years later into Pearl Jam. The camera is steady, perfectly postioned by
a friend of the band, and captures them all quite well. Because of the
age and extreme rarity of the video however, it is not the highest
quality.

Part two is the Door's ignaugaration ceremony into the Rock & Roll Hall of
Fame. Eddie talks about the Doors, kids around, and introduces them.
They give their speeches and talk about Jim, Ray reads an excerpt from
Jim's poem An American Prayer and tells the audience to recreate 1967's
Summer of Love- psychedelic drugs and all. Together, they all go on stage
to perform a masterful set of Roadhouse Blues, Break On Thru, and Light My
Fire. Something memorable to have. Their 10-take rehearsal for the show
is available on cassette as well.
