Replying to a message of Cindy Haglund to Bob Ackley: BA>> My dogs get monthly heart worm prevention treatments, fortunately the BA>> vet has given me some stuff that's a LOT cheaper than the monthly BA>> pills - it costs about $60 per bottle but one bottle will treat 9 BA>> dogs for over a year. The vinegar in the drinking water trick seems BA>> to keep fleas a CH> Okay so what is it? Share. :) re the heart worm alternative. I don't know what it is. It's a clear liquid in a bottle like the ones they put vaccination stuff in - with the rubber membrane on top. Clear glass bottle, plain label put on it by the vet stating the proper dosage (1/4 cc per dog per month). I use a hypodermic syringe and needle to extract the stuff from the bottle, leave the needle in it and squirt the stuff from the syringe into the dogs' mouths. CH> Vinegar in the water? Yes. CH> But will they Drink the water? Yes. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 53/558 106/1 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 300/3 14/5 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
