I don't use nltools here, so no. I wouldn't say it's a necessity at all. It
all depends on what kind of nodelist processing you actually want to do. I
use makenl for my net segment, and use the weekly distributed nodelists for
plugging into Golded, so I really have no need for nltools whatsoever, but
compiled it just in case I wanted to take a look at it.
