BW> The way my schedule has been here lately, I am going
BW> to miss my troop
BW> campout because civil war reenactment, work on
BW> weekends, dove season
BW> opens on labor day, and the Hunter Education
BW> Instructor class in September, boy I need a vacation.
I know what you mean. I've had three or four days off *total* since we
returned from Philmont the middle of July. I'll be in the office at least
every Sunday until the end of September.
BW> By chance if yall are camping down
BW> in Grandbury, do yall mind if I come down and visit
BW> yall on Saterday at
BW> camp? Do yall still need a second leader to camp with
BW> yall on Friday or
BW> Saturday nite? Let me know and I can be there.
At this time we do not have a second adult. We don't have a reservation in
yet either. I'll call you in the next couple days about this.
BW> Well, your guys are good cooks. I like to see what
BW> they come up with.
They are not bad, but the younger ones need much more practice. Perhaps a
couple campouts with an emphasis on food preparation would be good.
BW> I finally got they trailer done except finishing doing
BW> one of the
BW> springs. I am thinking of making a bracket to hold it
BW> togather, I don't
BW> know much about doing springs and dont really know if
BW> I really want to
BW> tackle it but I really don't want to go to a spring
BW> repair shop either.
BW> After all this work, I can take it camping again. You
BW> got to come by
BW> and see it. I am thinking since I painted it, I am
BW> going to get my
BW> scouts to paint flames on the sides. Can you imagion
BW> going on a scout
BW> outing with this trailer with flames on it? Hey, who
BW> is that nut of a leader with a hot rod trailor? 8->>
That would be impressive to see. :-)
BW> On to other news, I will have to start missing the
BW> roundtables now till
BW> December. My business course starts on the 25th. I
BW> am not excited, but
BW> the college is paying for the course and boss said
BW> that I may get over
BW> time just for being there past the end of the day.
It is unfortunate that you will miss the roundtables, but education is always
appropriate, especially if someone else is paying for it.
If anything earthshattering comes up, either your Dad or I will let you know
about it.
