You might want to rethink. There are times where you
might need to fire more rounds. Such as if you are
caught in the open and your attacker is under or very
close to cover. To drive him under cover while you
reach cover you would have to fire some (several?)
semi-aimed rounds at him while you move. After
reaching cover you can reload. This is a fairly
standard drill in most places.
Another is if you are in a closed environment
(restaurant, office, etc.) where you can not retreat
nor get help quickly. In an attack here you may face
more then one attacker or an attacker with several
weapons or reloads. If you work in an office I suggest
you keep a spare mag or two in your desk for this
reason. Also you should try drawing and firing toward
the door from your desk (after hours unless you have a
very understanding staff). The chair, the desk, the
CPU, the monitor and several other things can cause
problems that could cost you your life if the stinky
stuff hit the fan.
If you are in or work near any type of law related
office I STRONGLY recommend this. The fact is people
in these offices tend to have at least one side, some
times both sides, involved in the argument mad at them.
Some of them mad enough to try to do bodily harm to
everyone involved.
Ok I'll get off my soap box now and return you to your
regularly scheduled drivel.
