Granted some drugs are helpful! But how many aren't?

If your dog is indoors most of the time and you only take him or her
out for to go to the bathroom or a short walk as most are said to
do... do they really need monthly doses of flea/tick? and haeartworm?

And are there alternatives? Orgnaic instead? I think so...
