Every Pi 3B+ already supports GigaBit EtherNet at their RJ45 port.
It is only limited to 300 MB/s by the USB chip.
So the Pi 3B+ has sure faster networking than the older Pi's.
And of course you can also transport EtherNet data IPv4 and IPv6 by the Dual
Band WiFi at both 2.4 and 5 GHz 802.11 a,b,g,n,ac, or even BlueTooth.
