ET> Is there an advantage to have more than one lazy write workers on the ET> HPFS cache? Does this help with the performance when writing to disk ET> (HPFS partition)? It certainly helps in the case where one has more than one physical disc unit. It should also in theory help in the case where one has a single physical disc but that disc is SCSI and supports tagged command queueing. ¯ JdeBP ® --- FleetStreet 1.22 NR 138/2 397/1* Origin: JdeBP's point, using Squish (2:257/609.3) |
