John,

JL> I will sell it for 200 bucks. It's an Intel Overdrive chip for 5
DH> Absolutely brand new these retail for around $120....
JL> Well Damian, the cheapest I can find these chips for sale
JL> in the 'Computer Market' magazine is 180 bucks. You'll pay $300
JL> for it in Harvey Norman. This is an OVERDRIVE chip not the ordinary
JL> 3 volt chip. The Intel 3 volt chip goes for 120-130. Yes I overpriced
JL> it, but so what. I ended up selling the chip for 150 over the NET.
JL> Methinks you should get your facts right pally

You will also pay around $400 for 8M of 72pin RAM from Hardley-Normal
and you can pick it up on the Net from around $80 a piece...

I rechecked my facts - Bozzo Brown, a very large Australian Internet
Trader doesnt even sell them anymore. The slowest chip he sells is an
IBM/Cyrix 5x86-100 chip and it goes for the huge price of $89
delivered. Now for a chip that scores 264 on Norton it sounds pretty
damn good.

Bozzo used to however sell 486 CPUs until very recently, prices for a
DX2/66 were $59 and for a DX4/120 $129. You go figure where your
DX4/100 fits into the grand scheme of things...

Damian.

BTW The prices on ALL goods is set purely on what the buyer is willing
to pay - congratulations on flogging yours off for $150....
