I just got back from Belgium, so I am a little behind (I see you posted
this a week ago). But, yes, I agree. I am finding this interesting
primarily because it does reveal transendant beliefs, coupled with an
interesting refusal by many to recognize that while pretending the subject
matter is really only about a custody issue.

This country is in an odd space right now. Still ready to be manipulated by
the WH and press, but -- if the Bush polls mean anything -- also seeming to
tire of it. This, in turn, seems to indicate that we are at a fork in the
road of some sort, and this next election will propel us into one path or
another that will long outlive the next election cycle.

Although I am now getting concerned that Orrin Hatch is ready to place
central figures in the WH coverup on the D.C. Circuit court of appeals in
order to insure a hostile environment for Microsoft... even if it hurts a
Bush presidency while simutaneously blocking action on investigation of
scandals such as Johnson's bypassing the random selection process to place
Hubble, etc. before Clinton appointed Judges. (I never did trust Hatch...
he's too unpredictable)
