LW> good humbucking guitar which to me is a les paul. Here in this country a

on't

LW> But not till next month. I am doing my final price commparisions etc.
If you want to get a nice 2 'bucker guitar, ask Tom Engle what he can
do for you on a G&L ASAT Deluxe or maybe even the semi-hollow version.
As for the Les Paul Studio, play as many as you can if you are going
to get one. I find the necks to feel like a 2x4. Something about them is too
clubby, but not in a comfortable way like a SRV Strat's neck.
If you want a nice double 'bucker guitar, another option would be to
get a Tex-Mex Tele Special or a California Fat Tele and put some form of
Seymour Duncan single coil sized 'bucker in the bridge. The Tele Hot Rails or
maybe even the Tele Lil' '59.
