The foundation of HP's server line came from Compaq, which dominated the server market years ago. They made the best servers available. Loved the Compaq Smartstart CDs, the iLO (integrated Lights-Out) options, etc. At least HP didn't kill off iLO. I still use that to this day on my HP servers. I'm crazy when it comes to backups. I keep images (using Veeam) of the VMs and also have Symantec System Recovery Images of everything so I can do bare bones restores and file level restores. I also keep a months worth of backups - and they happen every day! 8TB dedicated to just backup images.. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.51* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 19/33 34/999 90/1 116/18 120/331 123/500 128/187 140/1 218/700 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 160 230/150 240/1120 249/303 250/1 261/38 100 266/404 267/155 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 282/1031 1056 292/907 908 320/119 219 340/400 393/68 396/45 SEEN-BY: 633/267 280 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 801/161 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
