I've almost finished the "Return of Sherlock Holmes" and was
wondering:
1. Is that the only Sherlock Holmes book there is?
2. Was Sherlock Holmes real?
3. Has anyone FREQ'd PDBOOK.TXT, which contains the info below?
4. Any recommendations from this lot?

Paul, quoting a message on 23/03/94, from you to All:
PE> I remembered that I wrote some short stories which I am now
PE> happy to release to the Public Domain. FREQable from me as
PE> trains.txt, ripples.txt, earth.txt and clouds.txt.
PE> Anyone else got some short stories that their
PE> sister/brother-in-law/etc wrote and are happy to release?
No, but it might interest you to know that there are groups of people
like Project Guttenberg who scan in copyright expired works like Edgar
Rice Burroughs, Ambrose Bierce & Mark Twain.
Here is a listing of some of the stuff on Prophet. IIRC, the files
themselves have pointers to FTP sites.
