Local wisdom is not articulate enough for me.  (-:  I need to know what
I've been misbelieving all these years.  Of course, all we had in the yard
were tomato plants and rose bushes.  Any plant that got sickly and died
through no fault of ours was dug up by my German shepherd.  She couldn't
stand dead things in the yard.
