I guess nine is more than one.   They're black lab mixes, and all but one
are blood relatives (father and puppies).  The exception is a former junkyard
dog I adopted when the yard's insurance carrier told them to get rid of the dogs,
Buddy will kill you with slobber.

A 40 pound sack of dry dog food lasts about three days - and makes a lot of
'used dog food' too.
