I'd like to shy away from the movies for a bit, and talk about the books.
In particular, Shadows of the Empire. I'd like to hear other people's
pinion
on it. I, personally didn't care for it. The story was good but Perry
uined
it with his ending. Xizor died way too easily. Vader just pushed a button,
and poof, no more Xizor, it was much to rushed. It felt like on one page he
was in complete control and then on the next he was a billion atoms floated
n
the inhospitible vaccum of space. I feel the same way about Dash's abrupt
demise. Way to fast. Not that I'm complaining about the character's dying,
but you'd think they'd dramitize it more, I just don't think it fit in with
GL's style of Star Wars, and yet Shadow's is the only book that GL has
officially accepted into his Star Wars universe.
What you think about this? I can smell a heated argument already!
