I'd try and run something like os/2 or even give open-dos (dr-dos) I 
shot... And I wouldn't use telnet... But try and track down OS/2 that 
runs great on slower machines and 64 meg would be plenty... The OS/2 
version you'd have to use SIO for a fossil/virtual modem driver but it 
runs well the OS/2 version... I'm still running under OS/2 :)
