The ones we buy look like they may be the upper leg bone of a cow. It has the ball on one end that appears it may go into the hip socket. You can also find these smoked and dried at the Bigger pet supply stores. The bone is soft enough that they can consume the bone. And then we take them away when the bone get small enough that they may choke on it. Here are a couple links to what we give ours for special treats. We will give them one of these when they will be crated for several hours and they will chew quietly. http://www.petco.com/product/100793/Bone-Buddies-Mammoth-Dog-Bone.aspx http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2750979 --- Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 (Windows/20080213)* Origin: The Eastern Star - Fidonet Via Your Newsreader (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 53/558 106/1 116/901 120/228 123/500 134/10 SEEN-BY: 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 SEEN-BY: 261/1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 SEEN-BY: 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
