Sorry to add to any picture of world-wide mayhem (tornado in North 
London ?),  but down here in the Antipodes we're officially well 
into summer - with snow falling on our State Highway 1 across its 
Desert Road,  and a fearsome slow-travelling rain-hail-thunder 
belt travelling slowly north over the Auckland/Coromandel 
Peninsular areas.

The media is full of global warmth, but all this unseasonal 
weather seems to be generally accepted without comment...

Are we alone in that down here,  or is your local weather out of 
sorts, too ?
