I give him credit for his heart being in the right place, and I give him
credit for putting far more effort and thought that is in his job
description to find a job for me that's a good fit. however, telling people
I'm an expert in things he knows I've never done or been trained in is not
something I call "credit" - it might show he has misplaced faith
in me,  but
it could also be a landmine waiting to go off and discredit me and spoil my
lovely new job
