Not having adjustable power really does make the 160 a gas hog as typically
set up from the factory. With the rather unique cocking system in the 160 I
just don't see a way to make it adjustable power other than going in and
replacing the hammer spring. I rather suspect that if you change the hammer
spring from one 160 to another that the number of shots obtained would move
with it.
I think it would be an interesting to know what the real potential is, in
number of shots produced, by a properly (de)tuned 167 with a MAC-1 extension
tube and a full 60 gram fill. 150-200..more?
