When I was a cop, my sergant and I were the first to carry auto
loaders when the county authorized their use. He had a 1911 and I
had a S&W 459, a new gun at the time. He called it a pea-shooter.
I told him, "I'll shoot you in the forehead, and then you shoot
me in the forehead, and then we'll talk about which one hurt
worse." :) Besides, I was carrying 46 rounds to his 22.

Yes, I love my 1911's. I'm particularly fond of Argentine model
1927's which are pure Colt at a bargain price usually. I also
love my CZ75 9mm, a really good gun for the money.

How hard will you laugh if I tell you I'm also very fond of
Makarov's? :) I think that Mak's are a great bargain. I have
several of them, and none have ever failed or misfed. Maybe some
think that they're underpowered, but nevertheless, I think that
they're great concealed carry guns.
