I think so, too. There's no reason why users should have to do that
themselves. I also agree with the fact that one shouldn't underestimate the
cost of retraining users.
But I wasn't so much talking about Linux/BSD on the workstation but
Linux/BSD on the servers. That's where the major costcutting is found,
without having to retrain each and every user.
There are many cases where I fail to understand why somebody spends 1000's
of euros for a simple F&P server that has to run Windows, while it
could run Linux or BSD for almost next to nothing.
