        Very good point, which would also lend a little more weight to the 
whole idea that Luke just wasn't ready to face Vader.  He wasn't a Jedi yet.  
Look at the huge difference between Luke at the end of ESB and the beginning 
of ROTJ.  That's a lot of growth -- and more control!
