why at all pack today ?

pkt files can be live compressed in binkp if zlib/bzip2 is supported, but
it wont decompress/compress files sent, but all uncompressed with get
delivered very fast if both ends support it over binkp

RAR is btw not free software, but UNRAR is (stupid licenses)

so to speak, dont pack with rar, but support unpacking is fine
