-> Most Coke vending machines around here offer 355-mL cans for $1, or
-> 500-mL resealable plastic bottles for $1.25 (Canadian, of course). I
-> think 355 mL is 12 ounces, though whether they're "Imperial" fluid
-> ounces (the volume of an ounce (mass) of water), or weird Yankee ones,
-> I don't know. The Yankee ones are a tad bigger.
I noticed that there are two sizes of pop cans around here, one of 341
mL and the other 355 mL. I think they are both supposed to be
approximations to 20 fl. ozes., the smaller one being 20 imperial
(British, etc.) ounces and the larger one being 20 U.S. ounces.
I wish people would just forget about ounces altogether.
