Subject: doorprizes
Fellow Federationists and friends,
I would be interested in hearing some feedback on what happens to names
after the the name of a doorprize winner is drawn. Though this is not a
problem at National convention due to the large number of attendies who
have registered for the convention, but some of us have noticed that at
our state convention a person can have his/her name drawn as much as six
or seven times lessening the chances for others to win. Some of us have
suggested thatafter a winning name is drawn that the name be removed from
the pot and returned to it before the banquet as many of the doorprizes
given away at that time are given away then and all convention attendies
should have the opportunity to win one. And some of these doorprizes are
upscale as many of you know. How is this situation delt with at other
state conventions? Just something to consider. Take care and have a good
evening.
Yours in Federationism,
peter Donahue
