The above is very possible, especially if the "to be launched" program
supports DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange). I've never used DDE myself (don't have
a Windows C/C++ compiler ), but it should do what you want.
Of course, if you aren't using DDE, it's another story. I'm not sure how
that would be done. (Recorder that comes with Win31 does that.)
